Second blog and here we meet again. How are you? :)
It's interesting to talk about the career we chose because it involves so many experiences... I find it great. Here we go:
My mom remembers that when I was little, I always played with four situations, operating on whichever stuffed animal I had, making invisible cakes, explaining something to an "audience," and building things with different materials. It's curious how this related so much to the future because when it came time to choose a university career, I considered medicine, teaching, and construction engineering. I could have studied the first option, but my sister, who is studying nursing, told me more or less what the working environment was like in clinics and hospitals, and I asked myself, "Do you want to spend your life in such an environment?". For that reason, I chose teaching. Teaching with love is an incredible gift.
My university experience has been very interesting and a constant learning process, both academically and no academically. I've stumbled upon some subjects I feared and faltered. I'm in the process of getting back up with more determination than ever. My friends/classmates have been a crucial support in this journey. If any of them are reading this blog, truly, thank you very much.
The type of job I would like to have is something that sustains my life, and I don't just mean financially, but also enjoying what I do. My dream is to work in a rural school in the south of Chile.
A hug!
